We have often heard the idiom: “take a leap of faith” be it literal or figurative when contemplating a decision. Often small and seemingly insignificant such as choosing between daring red stilettos or sensible black pumps, or a classic 1967 Ford Mustang as opposed to a SUV. Then there are decisions that could be possibly life changing and that often sets the foundation for our future such as a suitable life partner or a worthy career path which more often than not becomes a life partner. The timeshare industry is known to be ruthless and cut-edge and it can chew you up and spit you out all in a days’ work without even breaking a sweat. The decision to consciously leap into blood thirsty, shark infested water was no walk in the park for the young Terence Mudaly fresh out of high school and seeking employment. Especially when you are merely a beginner facing timeshare giants that are faster, bigger and stronger then you are with years of sales and marketing experience tucked under their belts.

 

However this did not deter him and he went on to create one of the most established and duly recognised companies in the timeshare industry with three functional sales offices established in Westville, Umhlanga and the Beach Hotel Durban respectively, an Administration Office, an Outbound Call Centre situated in Phoenix and a full scale Roving Sales Team that travels South Africa with the sole aim of taking The Dream Vacation Club Points System to the masses and ensuring client satisfaction all the way. In the process he not only made a name for himself but he also surpassed the expectations of his competitors thus ensuring that Dream It Marketing would be on the lips of most for many years to come. Currently Dream it Marketing boasts an average of 60 staff including all sales offices and sub mandate holders, many of whom have progressed within the company and continue to do so today. The establishment of each office was done strategically to benefit the community and staff in the best way possible and in doing so we have given ample opportunity to hundreds of locals but mostly youngsters most of whom did not have a matric certificate or a cent to their name. A lot of them were able to save up to study further and branch out to better job opportunities with some experience to add onto what would have been an otherwise blank CV It is often said that if you can make it in this industry you can make it anywhere and we strive to practice values and principles that are not only beneficial in the work place but key tools to be used in life as well.

We currently own one of the largest timeshare sales and marketing organizations in Durban. DREAM IT MARKETING.

STARTED

Dream It Marketing, opened its doors for business on 14 September 2005,with a staff compliment of only 1 telemarketer and 2 sales agents operating in a dingy shopping complex in one of Durban’s most notorious areas, as rent was cheap.

CURRENT GROWTH

Since 2007 Dream It Marketing is rated top of the leader board winning the number 1 sales and marketing company seven years consecutively, they had come through and lived up to its name, eliminating its competitors by strides even though “they” were in business decades before the birth of Dream It. What was once a dream quickly turned into a reality for its members and staff.
